Two WWE champions suffered a clean loss in a high-stakes match tonight. Despite dealing with an injury, Noam Dar pulled off a shocking victory alongside Romeo Moreno.
The names in question are Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes. They are part of a villainous faction called The Vanity Project in WWE. The duo currently holds the NXT Tag Team Championship. On the latest edition of the black-and-silver show, Baylor and Smokes competed against Dar and Moreno in the semi-finals of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

At one point in the match, Ricky Smokes tripped Noam Dar, sending him face-first into the steel steps. Dar seemingly hurt his head during the spot. Romeo Moreno quickly checked on Dar to ensure he was okay. The injury didn’t stoop Dar from competing, but he was out for a while.
Romeo Moreno managed to deliver a hot tag to Dar after suffering significant damage at the hands of the WWE champions. The NXT veteran singlehandedly took out the heels. However, he was constantly seen clutching his head. The Vanity Project realized that Dar was hurt and began targeting his skull with vicious knee strikes and submission holds.
Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor attempted a double-team maneuver, but the babyfaces countered it with Stereo Ankle Locks. Mya Lockwood tried to provide an unfair advantage to The Vanity Project, but her plan failed. In the end, Moreno hit an avalanche slam to turn the tides in his team’s favor.
Moreno and Dar executed picture-perfect elbow strikes to take out the heel duo. Dar secured a pinfall victory for his side after the sequence.
