AEW President Tony Khan discussed the company’s blockbuster yet absent star, Toni Storm. She hasn’t been seen in the Jacksonville-based promotion since March 2026. In her last match, she defeated Marina Shafir. Surprisingly, the Timeless star also confronted WWE veteran Ronda Rousey on the same show.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion was taken off TV by a mysterious attack days after Revolution. The reason for her absence hasn’t been known yet. However, it is reported that she won’t return to the promotion before the end of 2026. After a blockbuster WrestleDream, Tony Khan talked about the Timeless star.
At the WrestleDream post-media scrum, Tony Khan said he can’t tell when Toni Storm will return to All Elite Wrestling. Interestingly, he pointed out that whenever she does, the star will find out who attacked her and get her revenge.
“The former World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm is certainly on a lot of our minds and I can’t say when or where but I know ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm will be back in AEW and looking to get payback for whoever it was that took her out,” he said. [H/T – WrestlePurists’ X]
Tony Khan says major plans had to be changed because of Toni Storm’s absence
While speaking on Dynasty post-media scrum, Tony Khan stated Toni Storm’s absence led to the cancellation of major plans, and many things had to be changed.
“There are people out that 100% would have been involved. One great example would be the former TNT champion Kyle Fletcher who was out injured, that happened a few weeks ago, who 100% I would have had involved in AEW Dynasty. Also Timeless Toni Storm, and I made many changes to this pay-per-view over the last few weeks. They would have both been a big part of it. They’re both a huge part of AEW and anytime I can have Kyle Fletcher the Protostar or Timeless Toni Storm involved in an AEW event, it’s very important,” he said.
It will be interesting to see what is next for the former AEW Women’s World Champion when she returns to the promotion.
