Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his ex-fiancee, Sarah Jane Ramos, had planned to get married this offseason. However, they called off the wedding in March after a major argument reportedly took place during their bachelorette and bachelor party in the Bahamas.
Later on, rumors and speculations surfaced that Prescott’s fiancee refusing to sign a prenup was a major factor in the wedding cancellation. On Sunday’s episode of the “4th and South” podcast, former NFL stars Leonard Fournette and Jarvis Landry shared their thoughts on the situation.

According to the Super Bowl LV champion, Dak Prescott was not wrong for wanting a prenup. He criticized Sarah Jane Ramos for not respecting her fiancee’s decision.

“What was the real reason why they ended it. I thought it was prenups,” Fournette said.

“Did you hear that it was prenups. How do you feel about prenups?” Landry asked.
“Oh, you’re gonna sign that prenup,” Fournette replied. “For sure (Prescott made the right move). Now, it’s different when you’ve been there since Day 1, you know, big shirt, s****y drawers. It’s understandable.
“But you meet this young man when he’s in the limelight, knowing he’s about to make millions, or he’s a millionaire, and he’s taken a liking to you, in some way he changed your life. For you not to want to sign that prenup is disrespectful. Cause at the end of the day, love is love. But guess what, you need that money.”
In March, Sarah Jane Ramos shut down the refusal to sign a prenup narrative on a post of the show “Speakeasy,” where Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy were discussing her breakup with Dak Prescott.
“This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now,” Ramos tweeted.
Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos started dating in 2023. In February 2024, they welcomed their first child together, daughter MJ. The Cowboys quarterback proposed to her in October 2024. In May 2025, Ramos gave birth to baby No. 2, daughter Aurora Rayne Prescott.

Earlier this month, Dak Prescott was spotted with Caitlin Rance, Sarah Jane Ramos’ would-be bridesmaid, at the 2026 PBR World Finals in Texas. They were accompanied by other people, including Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer’s wife, Gemmi Weathers.
However, this outing sparked romance rumors between Prescott and Rance. However, the quarterback’s brother, Tad, shut down this narrative and clarified the situation.
“I usually stay out of these, but as I posted on the TMZ post, they are just friends. We’ve known @caitlinrance for 15 years now. Years before he was engaged. Caitlin was also a guest of our mutual friend Stacy who is in the post she shared.”
Prescott is gearing up for his 11th year with the Cowboys after failing to make the playoffs for the past two seasons.
