Seth Rollins has been away from WWE television since SummerSlam 2026. The Visionary lost a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns in the main event; their bout brought the Shield saga to a close. Amid his absence, the former leader of The Vision could leave RAW.

Since that loss, Rollins has been sidelined from television, and fans are eagerly awaiting the Visionary’s return to the show. The former World Heavyweight Champion made his in-ring return at a live event during the company’s South American tour earlier this month, but he has been kept off the weekly show.

Rumors suggest Seth Rollins could leave Monday Night RAW to join SmackDown, as he needs a fresh start. Adding The Vision to the blue brand would be a perfect move. A recent potential accidental leak by WWE has now pushed the rumor further. The Visionary is currently being advertised for a match at the Oct. 9 edition of SmackDown.

Rollins is advertised to team with LA Knight and Solo Sikoa against Royce Keys, Bronco Lima, and Lucien Price of 946 in a six-man tag team dark match after SmackDown on Oct. 9 at the Cajundome in Lafayette.

Rollins’s match on SmackDown could be a potential leak confirming that he’s leaving RAW to join the blue brand.

The Visionary recently appeared on ESPN Chicago, where he discussed his absence from the Stamford-based promotion.

Rollins said he was taking time away from television after his title loss to Roman Reigns and would return when the time is right.

Here’s what he said:

“I’ve been off WWE television since SummerSlam. I had a title match with Roman Reigns in Minneapolis, lost that match. I’m just taking my time right now, focusing on other things. At the end if the day, I’ll come back when the time is right.”

He further said:
