After bringing the Redmi Note 17 to India last month, today Redmi has also launched the Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max in the country.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro has a 6.83-inch 1280×2772 AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,500-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC at the helm, a 50MP f/1.8 rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. A 67W charger is included in the box.
The phone is IP66, IP68, and IP69K rated for dust and water resistance, and SGS-certified for drop resistance up to 3m onto smooth granite. It runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top and is promised to receive four major OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is offered in Purple Vibe, Cloud Blue, and Stealth Black with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for INR 36,999 ($385) and with 256GB of storage for INR 39,999 ($417). Sales for the Redmi Note 17 Pro start on September 17.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has the same screen, a 50MP rear camera with a wider f/1.5 aperture, the same 8MP ultrawide, a 32MP selfie camera, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC, and a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The OS and update promise is identical, as are the IP ratings.
The Pro Max is available in Stealth Black, Matcha Green, and Secret Sunrise with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for INR 49,999 ($521), and with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for INR 55,999 ($584). Sales for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max start on September 23.
