    Pull rates for the 30th Celebration set

    The Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration set has seen more amazing pull rates than usual. Now it is worth noting that the booster packs are a bit different than usual. In these packs, there will be a guaranteed Pikachu Rare and an Energy holo card. However, even besides that, the odds of getting an Illustration Rare, a Special Illustration Rare, or even a card from the Classic Collection are fairly good.

    So in this article let us take a look at the pull rates for the different rarities of the cards available from the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration expansion. The data has been taken from TCGPlayer who opened over 3000 booster packs from this set.

    The following table goes over the higher rarities available in this set and the odds to get them:

    As per these rates, it is a lot easier to get an Illustration Rare or a Special Illustration Rare, compared to other sets like Pitch Black which need you to open a lot more packs statistically.

    However, even TCGplayer was unable to deduce the statistics of the RGB Mew card which seems to be an almost elusive drop. They did not even find one after opening 3000 booster packs.

    Chances to pull a specific card from the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration expansion

    These are the odds to get a specific card that you want from this set:

    Getting a specific card will be a lot harder from booster packs. However, while Double Rares have the same rate as most other recent sets, specific Illustration Rares and Special Illustration Rares have a higher chance of showing up. If you are looking for a specific card from the Classic Collection, well, there are 30 of them so it will be a lot harder.
