NY Rangers Game 16 Open Thread: Rangers vs St. Louis

The New York Rangers really need to get things going for themselves. Another lineup shakeup moves Will Cuylle to center in an attempt to get more offense out of the third line. The fourth line with Noah Laba as the 4C and the newly recalled Jaro Chmelar returning to wing might serve as a shutdown line, though Matt Rempe’s role seems to be unknown at the moment. Scott Morrow sticks in the lineup after a great debut this season, hopefully meaning he will render Braden Schneider tradeable in the coming weeks.

St. Louis isn’t that good, so this is a game the Rangers really need to win. Hopefully Cuylle’s adjustment to center isn’t a steep learning curve, and hopefully the fourth line has a role other than “eat minutes” and “provide energy.”
