Josh Hokit has inserted himself into another political controversy following UFC Freedom 250, this time targeting Hunter Biden after the former United States president’s son criticized the historic White House event.
The exchange began after Joe Rogan addressed backlash directed at those who attended the June 14 card on the South Lawn of the White House. In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator argued that attending a sporting event should not automatically be viewed as a political endorsement.
Biden responded by explaining why he believed many Americans were offended by the UFC’s decision to stage a fight card at the White House. He took to X and wrote:
“Dear Joe, I wish I could sit down with you face-to-face and explain why so many of us were offended by the UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House. For me, it had nothing to do with the UFC or who showed up for the fights. The brand you and Dana have built is bona fide.”

Hokit, who defeated Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 and later presented President Donald Trump with a custom chain, responded on X, writing:
“Some crack and strippers had you occupied atleast, it’s all good brudda.”

The response added another narrative to the ongoing fallout from UFC Freedom 250, which has generated headlines for controversial reasons as well. Hokit was already one of the most discussed figures from the card after his post-fight interview created widespread controversy.
Israel Adesanya believes Josh Hokit is attracting dangerous attention
Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya believes Josh Hokit may be taking things too far.
Reacting to Hokit’s White House post-fight speech during an appearance on Demetrious Johnson’s MightyCast, Adesanya admitted he was stunned by some of the comments made after the victory over Lewis.
According to Adesanya, Hokit appears to be intentionally drawing attention to himself in ways that could eventually create problems outside the cage:
“His post-fight speech was crazy, like, at the White House. I was like, man, this guy, he’s trying to put a red dot on his own head. The last person that said that ended up dead was Joan Rivers. Anyway, I don’t want to go too deep into that. … Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom of consequences, but I think he can handle the consequences.”
