Give me a chance or cut me

Under the Triple H-led creative regime, this week’s episode of WWE NXT witnessed an interesting development when Keanu Carver dropped a bombshell and sent a big message to Shawn Michaels and the Authority.

Here, Emily Agard, the newest NXT correspondent, was assigned her first task to interview Keanu Carver. The newest employee met Keanu. Initially, the WWE star refused to speak a word, but then revealed multiple things.

After Emily said that taking Keanu’s interview was the first task that was assigned to her, the star expressed her anger at how the company put a person in a difficult situation.

“See, this is exactly what they do. They put you in situations you don’t want to be in, and they have you talk about stuff you don’t want to talk about. Like, who the hell is that, and why are you here? I don’t know you. I don’t know him. Like, what are y’all doing here? How many times I got to tell y’all, bro? I’m not talking in front of no cameras,” he said.

Further, the NXT star asserted that money is his only motivation to work and that he has a family to feed. Carver affirmed that he doesn’t need clicks or popularity; instead, he needs money to meet his needs.

The WWE star disclosed that he had already confronted Shawn Michaels and warned him about potentially leaving the Black and Silver brand.

“You know what I told Shawn Michaels? I told him to his face, give me a chance or cut me, I’m out. Yeah, I said that, straight up. Well- Cuz I told, look, if wrestling don’t work, I gotta find something that will. If this not feeding my family, I gotta find something that will work out.”

WWE NXT star doesn’t want to follow the rules

In this interview, the star also disclosed that he isn’t fond of following rules and doesn’t care about authority. Keanu Carver declared that he doesn’t care about authority and isn’t here to listen to the rules.

“You know something about me? I’ve been the same guy my whole life. Whether I was in the barbershop, the sub shop, or on the football field, cracking it in the streets, it didn’t matter. I’m the same person I’ve always been, and that’s who I’m always gonna be. I’m not here to follow rules, I don’t care about authority, and I’m not gonna listen to rules. I’m telling you straight up who I am. If y’all don’t wanna accept it, Y’all can go ahead, and I’ll go my way. I really don’t care.”

Emily Agard’s first assignment in NXT was to interview Keanu Carver, asking him how he knew about the symbol of war NARAKU gave to Tony D’Angelo: “I went to college and I played football. I didn’t go to class all the time, but when I went to class, I listened. I just don’t brag
