Bayley, CM Punk, and AJ Styles may be hugely involved in the new era of WWE. They are set to potentially replace big names, as per a recent report.

Shawn Michaels leaving WWE NXT will see AJ Styles step up, but Bayley and CM Punk are expected to be involved as well

Earlier today, PWInsider reported on the news that Bruce Prichard was expected to step back from his responsibilities in WWE after WrestleMania, with Shawn Michaels being the one earmarked for his role.

As per the report by Bryan Alvarez, with Shawn Michaels likely being the one to replace Bruce Prichard after WrestleMania 43, his replacement is set to be AJ Styles, with him getting the role that Michaels currently has. Michaels would be helping Triple H on the main roster, but Styles is set for his role. This is the most likely scenario right now, but that’s not all, with more changes coming to WWE. In the NXT office, CM Punk and Bayley are likely to be more involved, with them making decisions.

The WWE ID Partnership is also likely going to get a revamp, with things getting a change and a fresh look.

“As of right now, it looks like Shawn Michaels replacing Bruce Prichard and AJ Styles getting his NXT role is the most likely scenario. It is believed there will be other NXT office changes in 2027 as well. Depending on what she wants to do with her career, Bayley could very well end up involved. Punk may also have more input. It is also believed the ID program will get “a fresh coat of paint” in early 2027 as well.”

Should Bayley choose to be involved with NXT, it would make sense with the way both she and CM Punk have chosen to guide young stars in WWE over the last few years. Bayley’s Lodestone achievements will also help. Together with AJ Styles heading the role, it could be an exciting new era for NXT, and one not just in name.
