Boy, 13, stabbed in leg during suspected dispute near NYC park



A teen was stabbed in the leg during a dispute in Queens on Thursday afternoon amid a burst of youth violence inside city parks as summer-like weather rolled in.

The 13-year-old boy was discovered badly bleeding from his right leg after police responded to 89th Avenue and 153rd Street near Rufus King Park in Jamaica just after 4 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The unidentified youngster was taken to Cohen’s Children’s Hospital in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.

The incident came just hours before 15-year-old Jaden Pierre was gunned down near Nautilus Playground in Roy Wilkins Park in St. Albans.

Another 15-year-old boy was killed and two others were critically wounded in a shooting inside a picturesque Long Island park Wednesday night after a cook-out involving alleged gangbangers descended into voilence.
