The Cloud Hound is a Legendary pet in Grow a Garden that was added during the second part of the Beanstalk Event 2026. It can be obtained from the Beanpod Chest and has a passive that can help reduce the cooldowns of your other pets.
This article goes through everything you need to know about the Cloud Hound in Grow a Garden.
How to get Cloud Hound in Grow a Garden

You can obtain the Cloud Hound by opening a Beanpod Chest with a 14.5% chance. The Beanpod Chest is obtained by filling the Golden Cauldron at the top of the Beanstalk Tree with Gold mutated plants. You will first need to help Jack grow the Beanstalk Tree by submitting crops that match his requested plant traits.
Note that you need to reach 900 points to fully grow the Beanstalk Tree. Once fully grown, the tree remains active for 20 minutes. After climbing the tree, you can find Jill and the Golden Cauldron at the far end of the island. Submit between 30 and 75 kg of Golden-mutated plants to fill the cauldron and brew a Beanpod Chest. The cauldron then has a 3-minute cooldown.
What does Cloud Hound do in Grow a Garden?

Cloud Hound has a passive called Cloud Absorption. The ability occasionally causes Cloud Hound to absorb a Cloudtouched fruit. When this happens, it advances the cooldown of a random pet, allowing that pet’s ability to become available sooner.
There is also a chance for Cloud Hound to absorb three Cloudtouched fruits at once and refresh pet cooldowns instead. This can make the passive particularly useful when you are running several pets whose abilities have valuable cooldowns.
However, the passive requires Cloudtouched fruit, so its usefulness depends on how consistently you can produce or obtain those fruits.
