See you in AEW,” “Tony Khan get THEM

A well-known WWE tag team has parted ways with the Stamford-based company, immediately sparking rumors of a potential AEW move. Fans are keen to see the stars in question, Julius and Brutus Creed, compete in the Tony Khan-led promotion following their exit from the sports entertainment juggernaut.

The Creed Brothers began their journey inside the squared circle in 2021, making their in-ring debut as a tag team in WWE NXT. Their enviable in-ring prowess soon earned them successes like winning the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and capturing the NXT Tag Team Championships. The duo, along with their fellow Diamond Mine stablemate Ivy Nile, graduated from the developmental program to the main roster in October of 2023 as they joined the Monday Night RAW roster. The following year, they joined forces with Chad Gable to form American Made.

The Creeds’ alliance with Gable even spilled over into AAA, where they showed up earlier this year to support the original El Grande Americano as his partners, Los Americanos Hermanos. The brothers returned to NXT this past September, and participated in this year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, albeit getting eliminated by Hank and Tank at the quarterfinal stage last month. This turned out to be their last match in WWE, as news broke yesterday that their contracts with the company had expired, and that Julius and Brutus had chosen to not re-sign.

Fans are now taking to X/Twitter to share their reactions to the Creed Brothers parting ways with WWE, speculating on the possibility of them being AEW-bound. Many users criticized the Triple H-led company for not retaining the duo, urging Tony Khan to sign them as soon as possible. Others conjectured on potential big-time matchups for the Creeds in AEW, including bouts against the Young Bucks, FTR, the Motor City Machine Guns and the New Level.

It remains to be seen whether Julius and Brutus Creed will be All Elite soon.

AEW Collision this week will feature a major tag team bout

All Elite Wrestling will take to the high seas this Saturday for a special edition of AEW Collision, set to emanate from Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager (aka the Jericho Cruise). The episode will witness a tag team match between the Motor City Machine Guns and FTR, the fourth bout in their best of five series in which Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are leading 2-1.

It remains to be seen whether the Top Guys will be able to even the scoreboard against MCMG this weekend.
