Genshin Impact Frostfairy Flower farming locations

Frostfairy Flower is a highly important resource in Genshin Impact’s newly released region, Snezhnaya. With the launch of the first update, these flowers are needed to ascend the newest character named Odette, with a high possibility of other characters that comes after. Frostfairy Flower can be found in the harsh cold lands of the Snezhnaya open world, and they come in bunches while being fairly easy to spot.

However, it is recommended to keep Alyosha, a free 4-star unit in your party, while you’re going through a farming route. His passive allows nearby resources to appear on the mini-map. Simply progress through the “Everwinter Without Mercy” Archon Quest past the prologue, and you will get a copy of Alyosha for free.

Do note that Frostfairy Flowers cannot be found in the first region, Sretomorozsk, but far deeper into the areas of Central Station, the main city of Snezhnograd, and Piligrimage to the Sacred Gorge in the top-right corner of the map. Regardless, this article will list the best farming routes for Frostfairy Flowers in 7.0 update.

Frostfairy Flower farming routes in Genshin Impact’s Snezhnaya

Farming route 1:

Before going into farm, it is very important to progress through the Archon Quest, and get as many waypoints, and all of the available Statue of the Sevens in Snezhnaya. This way, it would be significantly easier to follow along the path we mention here. Additionally, as mentioned above, keep Alyosha in your party at all times.

For the first farming route, start from Sretomorozsk, the first safe area you encounter in Snezhnaya, and head towards the waypoint marked with an arrow in the image above. Upon spawning, take a left and look for an entrance to the Tidesong Cavern.

Alternatively, you can also teleport to the waypoint of the Tidesong Cavern, and look for the entrance from there.

Farming route 2:

Spawn on any one of the three waypoints near the Svetloledovka region, and head for the small peak located in the middle of the glacial area.

Farming route 3:

Teleport to the waypoint located on the tracks south of the primary Central Station of Snezhnaya. From there, head west on the map, as shown in the image above.

Farming route 4:

Spawn on any of the three waypoints between the Statue of the Seven, Central Station, or the Snezhnograd’s market area, and follow along the map given above to spot the flowers. Alyosha’s passive of showing resources on the map should come in handy here as well.

Farming route 5:

Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge in Genshin Impact (Image via HoYoverse || Interactive map)

Direct your attention to the right side of the map, on a area named Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge. You can either teleport on the Statue of the Seven, or any waypoint surrounding the area, and pick up the flowers by following the icons shown by Alyosha on the mini-map.

Go to the top of the map, north of the main Snezhnograd city, in a place called Sanctuary of Grief. You can teleport there too if you have the waypoint unlocked, and claim the flowers as marked above.

There are 74 Frostfairy Flower located in the version 7.0 of Snezhnaya. Once you pick all of them from the open world, you must wait for 24 hours in real time before they spawn again in the same locations.
