Content creator Suburbbaby has found himself in the spotlight after netizens accused him of viewbotting on Twitch following Streamer University 2026. For context, Suburbbaby is a Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and Instagram personality, best known for his vlogs and comedy sketches.
He has been broadcasting on the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform since April 2021. His popularity skyrocketed in July 2026, following his appearance on Streamer University 2026.
Suburbbaby’s average viewership increased from 385 in June 2026 to 42,096 the following month, after Kai Cenat’s five-day special event concluded.
On July 22, 2026, Ray, also known as “rayasianboy,” claimed that Suburbbaby’s livestream was being viewbotted. After noticing that the latter’s Twitch stream had more than 70,000 viewers, Ray stated:
“What the ****?! Chat, did he get botted? Chat, did he get botted, yes or no? 69k real viewers? 9k real chatters? Does he know he got bot? What the **** is he doing?! W bots?”
The community on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit had a lot to say about the situation, with many Reddit users accusing Suburbbaby of artificially inflating his viewership.
“Regardless if its him someone close to him or just a random viewer, he is 1000% botted and he was super defensive about it when chat called it out during some of his streams.” Reddit user Velcon_ commented.
“The twitch extension said he had 20k verified users lol. Dude botted 80k+ viewers” Reddit user Awqua20 wrote.
“Its obvious but twitch isnt going to do anything about it lol. People really need to realize that we arent in covid anymore and people arent watching these people 24/7 anymore. Everyone at the top is botted and they know it too. So many of these people dont have any real communities but they magically are hitting 20k plus every stream.” Reddit user DeucesX22 remarked.

Suburbbaby responds to viewbotting allegations
On July 22, 2026, X user @axifyclipping_ posted a video from Suburbbaby’s recent livestream, in which he refuted the viewbotting allegations made against him.
While claiming that he did not know how to viewbot, the content creator stated:
“You ****heads keep telling me, ‘Suburbbaby, why are you botting?’ Goofy *****! First of, I don’t know how to bot. Second of, if I did, how the **** would I do it now? I would’ve been did that ****. And *****, botting don’t even make you no ******* money. If I am being botted, *****, it’s not ******* me! Goddamn! Like, what?!”
Suburbbaby made headlines in September 2025 when he called out Kai Cenat for being “selfish” by hosting the Mafiathon 3 subathon.
