Wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, performed during the halftime of Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday. The New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs are dishing it out at Madison Square Garden to be crowned as this season’s champions.
However, social media has been buzzing after retired NBA star-turned-analyst Charles Barkley‘s comment on the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker. During the broadcast of the halftime show, he made an NSFW remark about Cardi B.

“I’m sure those aren’t Cardi B’s. Maybe Cardi D’s. She should change her name,” Barkley said.

This resulted in heavy backlash as Charles Barkley was criticized and called out on social media.
“Send his a** to horny jail right now,” one fan commented.
“This is actually f****g weird and disgusting? I’m taking my Barkley jersey straight to Goodwill tomorrow,” another fan said.

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B were one of the hottest couples in the NFL last season. In November, they welcomed their first child together.
However, following Diggs and the Patriots’ Super Bowl LX loss to the Seattle Seahawks, reports started surfacing about their breakup. However, two months later, in April, the wide receiver attended one of her concerts in Washington.
In May, the couple seemed to be on good terms during a Mother’s Day event hosted by Diggs. They even took photos together, embracing each other despite all the breakup rumors.
