“Att least he didn’t introduce Trump,” Burack wrote.
Jaxson Dart introduced the president of the United States at a Rockland County event on Friday. This resulted in massive backlash and criticism, with questions over his political inclination. Even his own teammate, linebacker Abdul Carter, called out the quarterback publicly before diffusing concerns of locker room tension with a follow-up post.
Jacobs was arrested on charges of battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation and intimidation of a victim. However, his lawyers have denied all the charges while the investigation continues.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the league also released a statement on the situation.
“We are aware of the report and have been in contact with the club.”
Jacobs just finished his second year with the Green Bay Packers. He joined them on a four-year, $48 million contract back in 2024. In two seasons with the franchise, the running back recorded 2,258 yards and 28 TDs rushing.
Ex-NFL tackle calls out Abdul Carter for staying silent on the Josh Jacobs situation
Former NFL tackle Breiden Fehoko was critical of Abdul Carter when the Giants linebacker publicly called out Jaxson Dart for supporting Trump.
Following the news of Josh Jacobs’ arrest, he tagged Carter in the post and asked him to speak up on the situation.
“Yo @1NCRDB1 thoughts?” Fehoko tweeted.
Carter shared a tweet on X questioning Dart’s participation in Trump’s rally. He later went into damage control with a follow-up post, clarifying that there is no bad blood between them.
Apart from Breiden Fehoko, analyst Jason Whitlock also questioned Carter’s motives.
“What’s the point of Abdul Carter going after Jaxson Dart for speaking att Donald Trump’s event in New York?” Whitlock said on the ‘Fearless’ podcast. “We can look at all the thousands of black fatigue videos and think nothing and say nothing. Our silence is violence. But when a white person does something we don’t like, oh, we bow our backs up, we man up, and we have something to say about it.”
Jacobs’ arrest has also raised questions about his availability for the Packers for the upcoming season.
