“RIP b***h” – Current AEW World Champion mocks Toni Storm’s undisclosed injury that will keep her out of action for a long time

AEW’s current Women’s Champion took aim at Toni Storm once again in the aftermath of the Timeless One getting attacked backstage and being written off of TV. The star in question, Thekla, is one-third of The Triangle Of Madness.

The latest episode of AEW Collision presented a women’s trios match pitting The Brawling Birds and Mina Shirakawa against Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont, & Haven Harris. Post-match, Jamie Hayter addressed Toni Storm getting ambushed and brutalized backstage over a week ago, before Alex Windsor moved on to bring up The Triangle of Madness. Notably, in the aftermath of the assault, Thekla insinuated that Storm faked the attack so as to dodge her.

The Triangle interrupted Shirakawa and The Birds after their match on Collision. Claiming that the babyfaces could not “handle” her or her allies The Sisters of Sin, The Toxic Spider once again took aim at Storm, and warned her enemies that they may share the same fate as her if they stood in opposition to her.

“In case you forgot, I am the AEW World Women’s Champion, and all of you are nothing. None of you can handle Thekla, none of you can handle The Sisters of Sin, and none of you silly b****** can handle The Triangle of Madness. And I swear, I swear on the cold, d**d body of Timeless Toni Storm.. Rest in peace, b****. I swear if any of you wanna try it with us again, you’ll all end up just like her.”

This prompted Mina to challenge Thekla, Skye Blue and Julia Hart to face her, Hayter and Windsor next week.

When was Thekla last seen in action in AEW?

Earlier this week on Wednesday Night Dynamite, Thekla defended her All Elite Wrestling Women’s World Title against Mina Shirakawa in singles action. The bout stemmed from The Idol Killer’s remarks regarding Toni Storm after she was laid out backstage by a mystery assailant. The Venus of Pro-Wrestling put up a strong effort against the champion, but the latter managed to walk out of St. Paul, Minnesota victorious.

Recent reports suggest that Thekla was supposed to feud with “Timeless” Toni, until the latter had to be written off of programming for an indefinite period of time due to undisclosed medical reasons.
