Today Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Poco knows this. So the brand has decided to mildly troll its competitor with the post on X which is embedded below.
Samsung’s teasers for the Galaxy S26 family have made a big deal of how its new devices aren’t smartphones, but AI phones. And Poco is having none of that.

While Poco hasn’t actually revealed what “smart minds” should actually be waiting for, it’s pretty clear that this is all about the oft-leaked Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
These are the only high-end Poco devices in the pipeline at the moment, and they should become official in the next few weeks, judging by the number of leaks we’ve seen about them already. The Poco X8 Pro is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5, while the Poco X8 Pro Max is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
The only differences between the Pocos and the Redmis could be the battery capacities, with the Poco X8 Pro coming with a 6,500 mAh cell (vs. 7,560 mAh on the Redmi Turbo 5), and the Poco X8 Pro Max sporting an 8,500 mAh battery (vs. 9,000 mAh on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max).
