Tommaso Ciampa reunites with WWE SmackDown stars

AEW star Tommaso Ciampa met with the top two WWE stars on a special occasion. The Psycho Killer left the sports entertainment juggernaut last month and immediately joined All Elite Wrestling days after becoming a free agent. Meanwhile, his former partner, Johnny Gargano, has been sulking on SmackDown. His wife, Candice LeRae, has been trying to motivate him, but Johnny is still depressed after losing Axiom’s mask, which he stole.

Meanwhile, The Blackheart won the TNT Championship just a couple of days after debuting in AEW. Unfortunately, he couldn’t hold on to it for long. At Grand Slam Australia, he dropped it to Kyle Fletcher, ending his reign in just 11 days. He recently teased going after The Protostar once again.

Tommaso Ciampa recently posted on Instagram a photo from Quill’s birthday celebration. Quill is Johnny and Candice’s son and recently turned four. Fans can also spot Willow, Ciampa’s daughter, in the photo. Interestingly, Johnny refused to break character and remained depressed throughout the party.

“Happy 4th birthday to Quill!! “Most” of us had a blast,” he wrote.

Veteran criticizes Tommaso Ciampa losing gold

The Psycho Killer winning the TNT Championship out of the blue shocked the fans. He then kept them hooked with intense promos. However, he lost it in just 11 days.

Speaking on the Experience, veteran Jim Cornette said that Tommaso Ciampa generated significant buzz and criticized the decision to have him lose the title so soon.

“We’re going to have you wrestle Mark Briscoe and beat him for the title. Great. And in the very next match you have, you’re going to lose it to another guy. What? They had something with Ciampa and people were talking about him. And with his first three weeks in the company, he’s won and won. He’s won a belt and lost a belt already. How can they justify this in their little pea brains?” he said.
