AEW has just announced a long-awaited in-ring debut set for tomorrow night’s show. This comes following their first appearance for the promotion three months ago.
Hints regarding El Clon’s arrival at the promotion have been shown for some time now. He finally made a move back in October. With the real Hologram being injured, he came in and impersonated him, appearing ringside for The Conglomeration. He cost Orange Cassidy the win in a crucial match. It was during the same night that he revealed that he was part of the Don Callis Family.
AEW hinted at his in-ring debut last weekend at Worlds End. This was set for January 2026. There is now an official date, and he is set to be in action for the first time for the promotion tomorrow night on Collision. His opponent has yet to be revealed.
Hologram is far from his AEW return
A few months ago, it was revealed that Hologram was dealing with a major injury and was set to be out of action for the rest of the year. This came at an unfortunate time, as he was on a great run and had even been booked for a shot at the TNT Championship.
It also seemed like the promotion was hinting at a feud between him and El Clon, two naturally born enemies. However, according to a report by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, he is still far from a return. The luchador may still be recuperating from his injury.
In the meantime, it seems like AEW is getting the ball rolling with regard to El Clon. The Don Callis Family member could establish himself on the roster as a competitor, and they could officially set up his long-awaited feud with Hologram when he is finally cleared for action.
The luchador could end up being another name to look out for, and Don Callis would have yet another major star making waves on the roster.
