What he’s done is unspoken

Roman Reigns and The Rock share a common Samoan dynasty and are connected through extended family ties. They were aware of each other’s greatness even before they entered professional wrestling. Reigns now recalled how iconic The Rock’s WWF/WWE run was and what he achieved in a short period.

The OTC was interviewed by Nico Leonard when the topic of The Final Boss came up. Reigns started with their shared family background, explaining how The Rock‘s grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, mentored his father and uncle.

Roman explained that without their family tree in the pro-wrestling business, there’d be a big gap. On one side, the void left by his family and Rock’s absence in general.

“Especially what he’s done is unspoken. You know, nobody ever hit the scene like Dwayne did and then was able to just move on to the next thing. You know what I mean? To be able to keep it there like that was perfect. Three or four years of perfection, and then you know to smoothly transition to the big screen. No one will ever do that. It’ll never happen again,” said Roman Reigns.

It would take a lot of effort just to feel his void in there. He claimed nobody affected the world of pro-wrestling this much and just moved to the next thing smoothly. To be able to have a perfect run of a few limited years in WWF/WWE and transition into Hollywood is unthinkable.

Roman Reigns wants to win a championship in order to elevate it

Roman Reigns has reigned supreme with the Undisputed WWE Championship for more than four years. He was a Grand Slam Champion way before that, though. So there’s nothing really a title that Roman could win now to feel complete.

However, in the same interview, Roman Reigns stated that any title won from now on will showcase what the title turns into when given to a megastar.

Reigns did imply here the World Heavyweight Championship, which he plans on winning from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42.

“There’s not any accolade I could win in wrestling now, but I can take a championship and showcase what happens to a championship when you put it on a megastar. That’s my goal, is to showcase the difference of when I have a title and everyone else has one.”

It will be interesting to see who emerges victorious at WrestleMania 42.
