Fort William Henry will host “Battles and Beverages” on the weekend of March 22-23, which also includes a reenactment of the March 1757 French and Indian War attack on Fort William Henry, known as the Vaudreuil Raid.
The reenactment, sutler fair and craft beverage gathering on March 22 and 23 is a collaborative project of the French and Indian War Society of Lake George and the Fort William Henry Museum, with support from the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance.
The event will take place Saturday March 22 from 9:30 am until 5 pm with battle reenactments at 11 am and 1 pm. Guest Speaker Dr. Steven C. Eames will present “Warfare on the Colonial Frontier” at 7 pm at the Fort William Henry Conference Center.
The Saturday events are open to the public at the Fort William Henry Museum in Lake George, NY.
