A partnered streamer of Twitch was suspended by the live-streaming platform for hurling insults at members of the US military.
In a recent, expletive-laden livestream, the user known as Frogan, in between bites of food and sips of iced tea, said she has no pity for US soldiers and that she hopes they die or get post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). While the streamer, whose first name is believed to be Morgan, was bashing US service members, saying she hoped they get no health insurance when they get back to America, some fans were sending her money.
Frogan is a resident of Dearborn, Mich., the US city with the highest Middle Eastern population, and is the daughter of a Lebanese father and white mother, and who identifies as Muslim, according to Fandom. Earlier today, she took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a screenshot of Twitch’s reasoning behind her 30-day ban. The streaming platform said her comments met the threshold for “targeted hateful conduct.”
Frogan Apologized, Sort of, but Lambasted US Military
In a Sunday tweet, the streamer offered up a half-hearted apology in which she said she was sorry for the opening wording in the above video clip. However, she also bashed the US military for various actions she claimed it took against her people.
The us military has conducted some of the most horrific crimes against humanity in the modern era in countries such as iraq, afghanistan, syria, lebanon, and palestine my anger is directed at individuals who are currently championing these war crimes,” she tweeted. Replies to that post are currently turned off.
In reality, the US military hasn’t exercised official, overt action in Lebanon in four decades, and while the US has provided weaponry to Israel, it hasn’t put troops on the ground in Palestine. Ten years ago, the US did intervene in the Syrian civil under the auspices of fighting the ISIS terrorist organization. The US continues supporting Syrian rebels who oppose the Islamic State and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Twitch, a unit of Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), is typically used by bettors and gamers to show off their proficiency at games and drum up interest in the gaming companies sponsoring them.
Frogan Took Pot Shot at Las Vegas, Too
In a separate Sunday post on X, Frogan appears to take a shot at Las Vegas, posting from downtown “GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!”

That post drew a spate of unsavory responses, including some bashing the Twitch streamer’s weight, some encouraging her to leave this country, and others referencing her Twitch suspension.
Her X account indicates she was in Las Vegas for a concert.
