Don’t tell the other six pairs of over-ear headphones I currently have in my house, but I definitely have a favorite.
More often than not, you’ll find me walking around with a pair of Beats Studio Pros on my head, and right now, my tried-and-true favorites are at the lowest price of the year so far on Amazon.
Normally $349.95, you’ll be able to snag a new pair for just $179.99 for a limited time. The sale even includes colors from the Kim Kardashian collaboration that launched last year.
Why do I love these Beats so much? Let’s get into it.
A pair of headphones is nothing if it’s not comfortable, and I could wear the Beats Studio Pro for hours — just ask any of my coworkers. I’ll wear these all day, listening to music or podcasts without ever feeling like my head needs a break (and I can’t say the same for some of the other pairs in my rotation!).
For a pair of headphones to make its way into my rotation, it needs to pass something I call the earring test. I have stud earrings in both of my ears that I never take out, so I look for headphones that fit around my ear without pressing the backing of the earring into my skin. It’s just another aspect of comfort for me, and these pass the earring test with flying colors.
Another huge pro of the Beats Studio Pro, in my opinion, is how seamlessly they are integrated into Apple iOS. Many of the other headphones I have require a separate app to control the sound modes, but all of the settings for these can be found in, well, the Settings app. You can switch between noise cancellation and transparency modes, plus enable spatial audio, all from the volume control in your iPhone’s control panel.
They’re beyond easy to set up, fold into a small size that’s easy to throw into a bag and deliver top-notch Dolby Atmos sound. What more could you ask for?
- Colors available: 7 (Black, Deep Brown, Dune, Matte White, Moon, Navy, Sandstone)
- Battery life: Up to 40 hours on one charge
- Listening modes: Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode
According to Apple, wearing Beats Studio Pro is like being surrounded by 64 speakers all at once when you enable personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. It’s like a pair of headphones built just for you.
