ONE Friday Fights 147: “We’ll see if he can handle it”

Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon’s knockout power will be his biggest weapon against Nabil Anane, but the Thai believes he has more than just that in this massive world title duel on Friday, March 20.

The finishing machine squares off against the Thai-Algerian tower for his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE Friday Fights 147 inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium.

Before they lock horns in the Thai capital this Friday, Rambolek made his plan for fight night absolutely clear and revealed his biggest advantage over Anane during an interview with ONE Championship.

“My biggest advantage might be my ability to wear him down. The plan is to feel him out in the early rounds to see if my punches can reach him,” the Superbon Training Camp martial artist shared.

“I’ve knocked out my last three opponents. If he takes one clean, we’ll see if he can handle it.”

Confident. But rightfully so.

The young gun, who sharpens his striking arsenal alongside Superbon, Nong-O Hama, and Johan Ghazali, has put five opponents to sleep on the global stage.

Most recently, the Muay Thai specialist finished Abdulla Dayakaev in the second round of their matchup at ONE Fight Night 39 this past January.

Rambolek’s striking power will be his trump card against Nabil Anane

The Thai striking specialist doesn’t need to overcomplicate things in his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title battle at ONE Friday Fights 147.

The 23-year-old must stick to what he’s been known for on the global stage of martial arts: his raw knockout power.

Anane will likely try to fight at a distance to stay out of harm’s way, but Rambolek’s speed and knowledge will help him close the distance without being caught by one too many shots.

Inside the pocket, he must hold nothing back against Anane, and perhaps, watch out for the Thai-Algerian’s sneaky elbows and knees.

Should he clear all the above, there’s every reason to believe Rambolek could leave the Thai capital as the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion this Friday, March 20.
