The Rangers got crushed by the Devils, making it two games in a row the Rangers got their teeth kicked in while dropping a game on MSG ice. The running gag is that this is all JT Miller’s fault as the Rangers looked much better when he was hurt, but I think that’s just coincidence. The Rangers are not a good hockey team, but there are some nice bright spots that may set this team up for success in the future.
There are no updates on Urho Vaakanainen or Noah Laba. As of now, we are assuming they are game time decisions, though Connor Mackey has been recalled. It will be one of Vaakanainen, Mackey, or Vincent Iorio at 3RD. If Laba can’t go, expect Jonny Brodzinski to center the third line.
