NY Rangers Game 32 Open Thread: Rangers at Chicago

The trap game. After a successful gauntlet week where the Rangers beat Dallas and Ottawa and got points against Colorado and Vegas, they are in Chicago for their only weekday game this week. Naturally this is a trap game for a Rangers team that is turning the corner. It’s never a must win this early in the season, but this would be a nice tone setter for the fans, knowing they won’t fall into the same traps they have in the past.

That said, Chicago isn’t a bad team. They aren’t a good team and the Rangers should win, but they have some firepower that, if underestimated, can burn the Rangers. This team is well coached so let’s see how this goes.
