Great set at a great price! I was able to snag this on sale with a Walmart Cash offer for my daughter’s 5th birthday! She absolutely loves Legos and the freedom to create whatever she likes for hours. I loved Legos as a kid in the 80’s! We make it family fun play and we now have the medium and the large creative boxes. I definitely recommend this to parents with kids who prefer creating over a lot of tablet screen time.
One of my children likes to be creative with LEGO bricks; the other likes to follow directions. This set is nice because you can follow directions to make simple creations or do your own thing. One of my favorite parts is that the bin they come in makes a great storage bin for the bricks in our playroom. All of our other LEGO bricks (all kits) have come in cardboard boxes which are not as nice for storing.
