Fans convinced Jason Kelce fell asleep during Taylor Swift’s concert

Maybe it was just the angle of the photo.

Maybe he was just closing his eyes for a moment, soaking in the atmosphere of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in Miami alongside his wife and his two daughters — with his mother reportedly in attendance, too.

But some social media users were convinced that Jason Kelce — the former Eagles center and brother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — fell asleep at one point during the show after Beau Allen, a former nose tackle and Eagles teammate, posted a photo to X on Friday.

“Sometimes I feel like everyone is a sexy baby and I’m a monster on a hill,” Allen wrote, referencing a lyric from Swift’s song, “Anti-Hero.”

The picture showed Kelce sitting inside Hard Rock Stadium while his wife, Kylie, watched Swift — the girlfriend of Travis — from the seat to his right, standing up and holding one of their daughters.

Kelce’s eyes, in the picture, appeared to be closed — suggesting that he somehow might’ve fallen asleep at a concert.

“Caught in 4K,” the account for “New Heights,” the Kelce brothers’ podcast, wrote in a reply, adding loudly crying face and face with tears of joy emojis.

“Reliving his first date night with Kylie,” another user wrote, referencing the story of Kelce falling asleep at the bar during the now-couple’s first date. “So romantic. Good luck carrying him.”

Since retiring at the end of the 2023 season, Kelce has shifted into the media side of the industry — leveraging the podcast he co-hosts with Travis into a massive deal with Amazon and signing a deal with ESPN to appear on their “Monday Night Countdown” show as an analyst.

In Week 6, Kelce traveled to MetLife Stadium with the crew and tailgated with Bills fans while dressed as Fred Flinstone before Buffalo’s road win over the Jets.

But on their weekly podcast, plenty of discussion revolves around Travis’ relationship with Taylor — from on-stage appearances during “Eras Tour” shows in the offseason to date nights in New York City last weekend during Kansas City’s bye week — that began last year, with Swift attending the bulk of Travis’ games when they don’t interfere with a show.

Still, Kelce said during an appearance in June that his brother’s celebrity status as Swift’s boyfriend hasn’t changed him.

“I haven’t seen him change one bit,” Jason said. “I think it’s a compliment. He’s stayed true to himself; he’s still humble, he treats everyone with the utmost respect like they’re equals, regardless of who they are.”

Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 5 game against the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium, but when Kansas City faces San Francisco on Sunday, she’ll be preparing for her final show in Miami.
