December 5th, 1933, was the end of Prohibition in the U.S. with the ratification of the 21st Amendment but Utah, repealing the 18th Amendment that banned most alcohol, leading to nationwide celebrations, the revival of bars and breweries, and a shift towards legal, regulated alcohol sales after over a decade of a nationwide ban. The 18th Amendment was the only constitutional amendment ever repealed.
