BREAKING: Retired WWE star returns!

WWE stars Sol Ruca and Zaria won a shot at the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles after beating Fatal Influence and WrenQCC on last week’s episode of NXT.

TNA and NXT still share a working relationship in 2026, and many stars shuffle between both brands, challenging for gold. A former WWE performer who retired a few months ago appeared with her faction on NXT TV.

As the founding member of the Elegance Brand, Ash By Elegance accompanies the Knockout Tag Team Champions everywhere they go, including episodes of TNA IMPACT and NXT.

Ash’s appearance marked the first time she has appeared on NXT programming since she officially retired from in-ring competition last fall.

The former Dana Brooke appeared backstage with the Elegance Brand to address ZaRuca’s victory. Ash, M, and Heather by Elegance mocked how Zaria and Ruca aren’t real friends, especially with how Sol appears to call the shots for the team.

The Australian powerhouse was immediately shown backstage, watching the segment while trying to reach her absent friend on the phone. Thea Hail tried to calm her down, but it did not end well.

A few current and former WWE stars recently retired

Along with John Cena and Johnny ‘Dango’ Curtis (Fandango), the former Dana Brooke retired from active competition last fall.

Before her retirement, she signed with TNA after her release from the Stamford-based promotion. She quickly rose in the ranks of the Knockouts division, challenging for the title on many occasions.

It was in a triple threat match against Masha Slamovich and then Knockouts Champion Jacy Jayne where Ash captured the Knockouts title for the first time. It was her first major singles championship.

Shortly after that victory, however, she quickly relinquished the title at TNA’s Victory Road live event. Lei Ying Lee, formerly Xia Li, won the vacant title.

It was a shocking moment and decision since she had recently won the belt mere weeks before the announcement. Reports mentioned a potential health issue as the reason behind giving up the title.

Regardless of her status, Ash has continued to appear on TNA and now NXT programming. Her retirement was from in-ring competition, but she still soldiers on as the leader and face of the Elegance Brand.
