Black Panther and Diego Paez flyweight Muay Thai banger joins ONE Fight Night 42 on April 10

Two striking specialists who thrive on chaos, Black Panther and Diego Paez, finally have a date circled on the calendar, and fight fans watching from around the world should be in for an absolute war.

They cross paths in a flyweight Muay Thai clash at ONE Fight Night 42: Eersel vs. Rungrawee on Prime Video inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, April 10. The promotion made the bout official on its website earlier this week.

Black Panther and Paez were originally booked to collide at ONE Fight Night 40, but the Thai brawler was forced to withdraw just hours before the showtime due to illness.

The 26-year-old is healthy, rested, and raring to go now, and the timing of this rescheduled showdown could not feel more electric.

Both fighters bring aggressive, front-foot striking style that overwhelms anyone standing across from them in the pocket, and neither has ever shown much interest in a tactical or measured approach.

Paez, who represents Colombia and the United States, has been itching to prove himself on martial arts’ grandest stage again after picking up one of the biggest upsets of 2025.

Black Panther’s tenure on the global stage didn’t go exactly as planned when he crossed paths with Tagir Khalilov at ONE Friday Fights 9 in March 2023.

However, he studied that knockout loss to improve on his shortcomings, and he’s emerged victorious in each of his fights inside the squared circle since.

The 26-year-old who fights out of Team Mehdi Zatout rebounded with a pair of decision victories against Mohammad Sadeghi and Suriyanlek Por Yenying.

Then, Black Panther took his active winning streak to 4-0 with a pair of ferocious knockouts against Russian knockout artist Ali Saldoev and Colombian striker Johan Estupinan.

In the opposite corner, Paez, 32, is eager to build on his hard-earned win over Malaysian-American star Johan Ghazali at ONE Fight Night 32 last June.

Following a loss to Sean Climaco in his promotional bow, the Classic Fight Team warrior edged ‘Jojo’ via split decision after a thrilling back-and-forth war.

Two explosive strikers. This flyweight Muay Thai bout inside the Lumpinee on April 10 has all the ingredients of a highlight-reel finish.
