    Becky Lynch will defend her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on this week’s episode of RAW. The Man won back the gold from Maxxine on the January 5 edition of RAW, in a controversial finish. While Becky managed to walk out with the title somehow, an irate Maxxine Dupri has vowed that she will snatch back the title from Becky.

    #4 Becky Lynch taps out

    The Alpha Academy member can use her iconic Angle Lock to make Becky Lynch tap out. This could be one way to install Maxxine Dupri as one of the leading women in the women’s roster. Becky Lynch is a five-time women’s champion. Making her tap out would certainly elevate Maxxine Dupri’s status in the company.

    Moreover, as WWE often uses senior superstars to put over the younger talents, this could be one match where Becky Lynch can put over Maxxine Dupri. Therefore, this could be one finish to Becky and Maxxine Dupri’s title match on RAW.

    #3 AJ Lee costs her again

    AJ Lee can once again return and help Maxxine Dupri beat Becky Lynch to win the IC title. It was AJ Lee who had helped Maxxine beat Becky to win her maiden IC title on the November 17, 2026, edition of RAW.

    And AJ Lee’s tale with Becky isn’t over yet. The two have been at loggerheads for the past few months, and in their last encounter at Survivor Series: WarGames, AJ Lee forced Becky Lynch to tap out in the women’s WarGames match.

    Since then, the Black Widow hasn’t been spotted in WWE. She also hasn’t clashed against Becky Lynch in yet another one-on-one match. Therefore, her return on RAW this week during Maxxine’s match could be used to build her match against Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble PLE.

    #2 Alpha Academy members come out to help Maxxine against Becky Lynch

    Since Becky Lynch won back the title in a dirty finish, Maxxine Dupri could also do the same with Becky and take help from her Alpha Academy mates to help win the match. Akira Tozarwa and Otis have been with Maxxine Dupri through her thick and thin. Even though Maxxine Dupri might not intentionally bring them to help, the two can cause some outside influence if Becky tries to cheat during the match.

    #1 Becky Lynch cheats to retain her WWE IC title

    Becky Lynch can once again cheat to retain her IC title. The Man would go to any length to keep the title on her shoulders. Moreover, the company shall not proceed with a title change so frequently. Therefore, Becky could once again cheat to win the match. She can use the turnbuckles, blindside the referee, use some hidden weapon, or do any other stuff to once again beat Maxxine Dupri.

    Most probably, Becky is expected to retain the title for the next few weeks before finally dropping it. And the title change shall most probably take place in a WWE PLE event. It could be either Royal Rumble 2026, Elimination Chamber, or even WrestleMania 42.
