Andrade calls out top AEW star’s relationship with his wife; urges him to treat her with respect

AEW star Andrade recently called out a major star and went personal. He returned to All Elite Wrestling earlier this month and has big goals in mind. He wrestled Magnus on the recent edition of Collison. This was his second win in the company since returning. As he looks forward to picking up more wins, he recently warned the AEW World Champion MJF that the two will collide soon.

El Idolo might have to join the line to face Maxwell as Samoa Joe, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland are already waiting for their shot. The 36-year-old star will face the Most Dangerous Man in AEW this Wednesday on Dynamite. The winner of this contest will move one step closer to a match against MJF. Maxwell recently acknowledged Andrade’s warning and disrespected him.

El Idolo took to X and claimed that he will take the AEW World Championship from the champion, which will give him time to enjoy his long-awaited honeymoon with Alicia Atout. He also asked Friedman to respect her.

“Idiota!! I’m talking about your championship. Now that I’m going to be the next champion, you’ll thank me because you’ll be able to go on your honeymoon. Your wife deserves it, give her the respect she deserves! You need to be a man!! #Macho #Galan like me. @AEW @The_MJF,” he wrote.

Andrade talks about his experience in AEW and WWE

El Idolo left WWE last year due to stagnant booking. Despite being released, he went on a legal war with the promotion because they accused him of breaching the non-compete clause. However, after battling the juggernaut promotion for several months, he finally returned to AEW a few weeks ago. He recently talked about the difference between the two companies.

While speaking on Highspots Network, Andrade said that AEW gives him more freedom, while he was ‘stuck’ in WWE.

“You know, I love this business, and now with AEW kind of working with many different companies—like, you know, in WWE—I was just stuck,” Andrade admitted. “With AEW, you have more freedom,” he said.

It will be interesting to see if the 36-year-old star defeats Swerve this week.
