These Pencils are soft. They are not the usual hard pointy tipped pencils. First time using them and I absolutely love them. I bought them to go along with my fantasy forest coloring book and it is beautiful. They come in several different sizes but I Chose the 48 pencil set. Now I’m wishing I bought the larger size. Love them.
Being a longtime user of colored pencils, I was a bit skeptical about buying Amazon Basics. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised to find that these pencils were of a quality similar to Prismacolors! Nice soft, thick leads with a beautiful pigment saturation!
