These 17 companies are hiring seasonal and holiday employees in 2024:
1. 1-800-Flowers plans to hire some 8,000 seasonal and year-round employees.
According to Reuters, 1-800-Flowers has announced its plan to once again hire some 8,000 seasonal and year-round employees. Many positions are located in Illinois, Ohio, and Oregon, as well as some work-from-home positions. To learn more, head to 1800Flowers.com.
2. Transportation and logistics provider, Geodis, plans to hire 3,700 seasonal employees.
Geodis is prepared to handle the holiday volumes! The company plans to hire 3,700 seasonal employees across the U.S. and Canada. There will be plenty of warehouse openings for job seekers. 3. Macy’s will be hiring thousands of seasonal workers in 2024.

The company, along with Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury, plans to hire some 31,500 seasonal workers. Many of these jobs are located in NJ and NY and the pay ranges from $16 – $28 per hour.
4. Target aims to hire 100,000 seasonal employees.
Target was just named one of the best companies to work for by Forbes Magazine and the company just announced it plans to hire 100,000 seasonal employees. Some of the roles include warehouse operations specialists, fulfillment and general merchandising experts, store attendants, food and beverage specialists, and more! Target’s minimum starting wage is between $15 – $24 per hour and seasonal employees receive perks like flexible scheduling and a store discount.

5. UPS is hiring 125,000 holiday workers.
UPS is preparing for the holiday rush by hiring 125,000 workers! Part-time and full-time positions are available with many being package handlers or delivery drivers. Even better, UPS stated that 75% of these jobs don’t even require an interview and part-time workers make at least $21per hour!

7. Bath & Body Works gives employees a 40% discount.
Do you love the smell of Bath & Body Works fragrances? If so, this seasonal job might be for you! The company has announced it is hiring 30,000 seasonal employees across its 1,800 stores and 2,700 distribution centers. Stores are looking for part-time sales associates and the distribution centers are hiring several full-time positions. Seasonal employees receive benefits like a 40% discount on store products, Daily Pay, and flexible hours!

8. Dick’s Sporting Goods is hiring up to 8,000 workers.
The popular sporting goods store is looking to hire seasonal staff and the company was recently listed as #14 on FORTUNE’S Best Places To Work In Large Retail.

10. JCPenney is hiring more than 10,000 seasonal employees.
JCPenney just announced plans to hire some 10,000 holiday employees. The company is hosting a recruiting event in-store and online from October 16th to October 18th. Kohl’s has a plethora of job listings for seasonal workers at their stores and distribution network. While the hourly pay varies by position, Kohl’s associates are all offered a 15% Kohl’s discount every day and the company also offers flexible scheduling.

As the holiday season approaches, USPS knows that this is definitely their busiest season. Their website mentions that they are “actively hiring” holiday employees. Those in need of seasonal work may want to try Burlington Coat Factory. The retailer announced it was hiring at least 24,000 workers. Apply online, in-store, or head to one of their hiring events. The next event takes place October 29th and 30th.
Roles include 1,500 full-time seasonal warehouse associates for first, second, and weekend shifts. There will be 23,000 part-time seasonal roles available at stores including cashier associates, retail sales associates, and retail stocking associates.
