The first episode features Blake McGready, a US historian interested in environmental history, especially of the American Revolution.

Blake McGready is a PhD Candidate at The Graduate Center, CUNY where he studies the environmental legacy of the American Revolution. He has previously worked at The Gotham Center for New York City and for the National Park Service.

The Historians & Their Histories podcast planned for twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Mondays.

In each episode, scholars who have received fellowship support from the Massachusetts Historical Society talk about their origin stories, why they became students of the past, and offers a sneak peek at their current projects.
