BTS is gearing up for their long-awaited return, revealing both an upcoming livestream performance and new documentary set to air on Netflix in partnership with Hybe.

Titled “BTS the Comeback Live | Arirang,” the event will be broadcast from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, on March 21 at 7 a.m. ET in celebration of their forthcoming album, Arirang arriving March 20. A press release touts the doc as a “portrait of resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention” as members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook reunite in Los Angeles to “create new music that reflects who they are now — culminating in what will become a landmark album of its time.” The film will also see the group battling with “how to begin again, how to honor the past without being bound by it, and how to move forward together.”

Arirang will be the group’s first studio album since 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7 and is named for a traditional Korean folk song renowned both in Korea and around the world. The supergroup will also launch an extensive tour this April that will run through March 2027 in support of their upcoming LP. The world tour will kick off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, and see the band spending multiple nights in each city on the trek, including Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Busan, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Manila.
