Grace's Joy – A TAVR Procedure Success Story
Grace experienced chest pains and consulted the Maimonides Heart & Vascular Center for help. Unfortunately for Grace, this episode was not her first cardiac event; she had already undergone heart bypass surgery. A Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) was her only hope for resuming a normal life.
The experts at the Maimonides Heart & Vascular Center successfully replaced her faulty heart valve via the TAVR procedure. A year later, Grace is doing well, and has a new lease on life. She is currently a Deaconess at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY, helping others and working in her community.
The Maimonides Heart & Vascular Center is renowned for breakthrough therapies that save lives. According to the federal government’s analysis of all hospitals in the nation, Maimonides is among only 25 with consistently outstanding outcomes for heart attack and heart failure patients.
