The Impella Device for Heart Failure


An overview of the Impella device narrated by Dr. Robert Frankel, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Maimonides Medical Center. The Impella is a left ventrical assist device that aids patients if their hearts have trouble pumping blood. Maimonides was the first hospital in Brooklyn to utilize this device.
